La Vie Française Lifestyle Video Series Coming Soon!

The Belle Team has been working hard on our new La Vie Française Lifestyle Series.

We've been interviewing business owners here in Paris -  jewelry  designer, wine tasting classes, Parisian apartment tours...

Below is a very short & UNEDITED clip of our interview we did with Lauranie Nanotte from Esprit Chocolate Tours & Tastings.

We sat down with her at Angelina's for a cup of their world famous chocolat chaud while she explained how her love affair with chocolat began.

We then followed her around the corner to Le Marquis du Laduree for a cocktail reception. The chocolat cameos here are something to live for!

Stay tuned for our full-length videos coming soon!

Paris Flowers

There's one thing I always hear from out of town guests when they visit Paris for the first time
 "The flowers here are amazing."

Versailles - Go Beyond the Château!

Versailles is so much more than the Château.
The city is full of history with the regions's largest food markets and
a wonderful antique market opened on weekends.

The Musée Lambinet is another small museum that is missed by most visitor to Versailles,
but definitely worth a visit.
On certain days you can take tea on the front veranda!

Take a look at this short Musée Lambinet Video/Slideshow HERE

A Stroll Thorugh Montmartre

The winding streets of Montmartre, in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, is the bohémien side of
Paris. The hilly and winding streets has long been a haven for artists; Picasso, Van Gogh, Monet...
Above is the Musée de Montmartre and is a good place to start to learn more about their adventurous and often over indulgent lives here.

Truly a mix for the senses, from the noisy and scandalous (in my opinion) cabarets and 'shops' of Pigalle to the quiet and shuttered homes and apartments that make you feel you're in the country.

You're sure to find an abundance of people, places and things that are interesting, delightful and surprising.

A good place to start is on the steps of the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre to enjoy the gorgeous views of Paris. If you time it for a perfect sunset that's even better.

à bientôt!

Handcrafted Olive Wood Items

Shopping at Premier Pression Provence for fresh olive oil from small producers in the south of France.
Feel free to taste all the unique flavors and ask how which goes best with what.
Tapenades, sea salt, and mustards are also available to taste...  and chocolate-covered almonds.

Handcrafted olive wood cutting boards and serving bowls make perfect gifts,
and did I mention the chocolate-covered almonds?

Morning Café

The timing could not be more perfect. The lull between breakfast and lunch and a great spot for people-watching in this café on the Blvd Saint-Germain.
It is one of my favorite rituals I have living in Paris.
A morning café-crème with my mini laptop and my days's schedule to plan.

Do you have a morning ritual?
